Art on Blockchain can be easily stored in NFT format. Are we totally doing it right?

Most projects on NFT space break the main point of Blockchain. DECENTRALIZATION! To render what you are getting as a non-fungible token, outer sources are being used such as IPFS, Arweave, or centralized domains. Even though projects suggest using IPFS as a decentralized solution, the function named “SetURI” located on most projects' contracts gives the possibility to change the artwork to the creator. While you are buying an NFT at this point you are actually relying on the creator rather than the blockchain itself.

Is it possible to change this?

There are “Yes” and “No” answers to this question.
YES, It is possible by following Solidity limitations together with network gas usage. NO, It is not possible if you are into complicated staff.

We, as AlphaMorph, aim to come up with totally Decentralized On-Chain Digital Generative Art solutions by exploring Ethereum & other blockchain's limits & possibilities.

What we are working on is that a contract that is capable of creating tokens on-chain, rendering them on-chain, storing them on-chain. ALL-IN-ONE solution to digital generative art on blockchain technologies.
